Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

David Giarratano - State Farm Agency, located in East Stroudsburg, PA has an immediate opening for a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional. • Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in East Stroudsburg, PA. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, as needed. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license (required)
• Life, Accident & Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Recent State Farm experience preferred but not required
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Must be able to pass a background check
