This position will assist employees with computer hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, user accounts, and other IT-related issues. The technician will support both office and manufacturing-floor technology while maintaining a safe, professional, and service-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support to employees.Troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, software, and network connectivity.Install, configure, and maintain computers and IT equipment.Assist with user accounts, passwords, and system access.Support computers, scanners, and other technology used on the manufacturing floor.Document service requests, repairs, and equipment changes.Maintain IT equipment and inventory.Escalate complex technical or network issues to senior IT staff.Follow company IT, cybersecurity, and safety procedures.Provide professional and timely customer service to plant employees.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Basic knowledge of computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn new technology and manufacturing systems.Ability to safely work in an industrial/manufacturing environment.IT education, CompTIA A+ certification, or previous help-desk/technical experience is preferred but not required.
