We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team and assist with various bookkeeping and accounting tasks for our construction clients. Job duties Assist with monthly bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Support client communication and inquiries under the guidance of senior bookkeepers Contribute to the month-end closing process and report generation Assist with new property set-ups, move-outs, owner draws, and management fees Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance At least 1 year of experience working with QBO (desired) At least 1 year of experience in construction accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working with construction clients or directly at a construction company (mandatory) At least 1 year of experience managing maintenance work orders in the construction industry (mandatory) Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) Willingness to learn and grow in the real estate accounting field Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace) Location and schedule This is a virtual (remote), full-time role available only to candidates located in Philippines, Mexico and/or Colombia The position requires availability Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST About REA At REA, we're a fast-growing, technology-driven accounting company dedicated exclusively to the real estate industry.
